Let’s kick-start 2019 with a London Agile HR Meetup on 29th Jan. Our theme looks at how Human Resources (HR) and People Experience teams are reinventing their approach to HR service design by focusing on the user experience (UX) of work. Our hosts are the Ways of Working team at Lloyds Banking Group, who are currently redesigning their employee experience (EX) through Agile HR mindset and techniques. Our special guest is Yusuf Okucu, who will share Vistaprint’s inspiring Agile HR story. The Agile HR Meetup is a global learning network for HR, Learning and Development (L&D), Agile and, People and Culture professionals, on a mission to innovate HR and transform the profession for the future of work. Join us and help shape the discussion.
UX = EX
Delivering a great and memorable customer experience has become the modern business mantra for our digital age. It’s perhaps unsurprising to now see this drive for customer-centricity begin to reshape how we approach HR and People Practices.
By tracking the employee experience (EX) like a customer journey, and redesigning each element using design thinking and Agile techniques, HR teams are not only reinventing their approach to HR service design but the whole operating model of HR itself.
Lloyds Way of Working Team
On the night, Natalie Bage, Head of Ways of Working at Lloyds Bank, and Luke Platt, Ways of Working Manager, will share some of their latest Agile HR work, explaining how they are mapping out and redesigning the employee journey across the organisation. The discussion and interactive exercises will shift your perspective on how to design user-friendly and human-centric HR services and practices. You’ll also be challenged to explore new ways the HR operating model can be structured to service the EX of an organisation.
Talent and Experience at Vistaprint
We’re thrilled to announce, Yusuf Okucu, who heads up the Talent and Experience Insights team at Vistaprint, as our special guest on the night. Yusuf will share Vistaprint’s amazing Agile HR story, and how their Talent and Experience team use Agile mindset and techniques to constantly enrich the user experience of work. The whole team is now structured to continuously deliver features and improvements to the employee experience, similar to how the business aims to continuously improve the customer experience. Vistaprint’s model is truly ground breaking. Their case study also demonstrates how HR’s operating model can be multi-functional and fully integrated with the wider organisation. Yusuf’s session will inspire you to think big about how to build a great employee experience back in your own organisation.
Agile HR in a Nutshell Launch
Excitingly, Natal Dank, Agile HR pioneer and co-founder of the Agile HR Community, will also be launching the new free Agile HR in a Nutshell infographic, recently designed in collaboration with the great Mia Kolmodin, from Dandy People, who crafts the fabulous Agile in a Nutshell series, and Riina Helström, fellow co-founder of the Agile HR Community.
